Answer:

C (btw its x less than 7)

Step-by-step explanation:

Becuase the first option represents that the arrows go separate ways to infin.

the second option states that one variable is greater than of equal to and the other is only <

the third correctly shows and represents the inequality

the fourth one has the OR which means a number that is plugged in only needs to satisfy one of the inequalities which is not the point.

Solution: The another way to show the Fuaad's solution is x>7.

Explanation:

It is given that the solution of an inequality is -127.

It can be break in two parts -12 and x>7.

The inequality -12 means the values of x is greater than -12 and the inequality x>7 means the value of x is greater that than 7.

When we combine both results we get x>7 it means the value of x is greater than 7.

It can also represented by number line as shown in given figure.

The number line shows the values of x and red lines shows the solution of both inequalities -12 and x>7.

The common region shows the combination of both the possible inequalities, therefore the another way to show the Fuaad's solution is x>7.

Answer:

\huge\boxed{\sf 18 cm\²}

Step-by-step explanation:

The figure consists of 2 rectangles.

Rectangle 1 Area:

Length = 5 cm

Width = 2 cm

Area = Length * Width

A = 5 * 2

A = 10 cm²

Rectangle 2 Area:

Length = 4 cm

Width = 2 cm

Area = 2 * 4

A = 8 cm²

Area of the whole figure:

= Rectangle 1 + Rectangle 2

= 10 + 8

= 18 cm²

\rule[225]{225}{2}

Hope this helped!

The sum of 5 consecutive integers is 265. What is the fifth number in this sequence ?
Yanka [14]
Hello,
Let's assume n,n+1,n+2,n+3,n+4 the 5 numbers

n+(n+1)+...+(n+4)=5n+10=265
5n=265-10
5n=255
n=51
The 5th number is 51+4=55
