Write two clues that shows the pardoner tries to deceive the people he preaches to
Mice21 [21]
Although the Pardoner would like to repeat it; money is the root of all evil. He makes sure that he benefits from his position.

He invites the so-called 'good' people to buy his relics and once they are bought, he proceeds to release them from their sins.

Then he preaches about how donating to his church would keep them away and protects them from their sins.

Valid reasoning will NOT use fallacious reasoning, will provide supporting details that are relevant and sufficient, and will be
AveGali [126]
I'd say B and D. Elementary school reports don't necessarily equate to knowledge of a subject (and research on the branches of government doesn't help you know how to govern), so A is out. C is nice, but popularity and charm do not a leader make, he might have ulterior motives to being as such, maybe taking advantage of the power? B and D show things he has done that would give him useful skills in the position.

What process is the poet describing when she uses the words “i remove its muddy shoes and rearrange the pillows” in lines 21 and
Nataly_w [17]

Answer:

C. Revising a poem’s ideas and words

Explanation:

This question refers to Mackenzie Connellee's poem "Invitation".

There, the author counters the claim that writing poetry is easy work and gives some examples of the creative process.

In the mentioned lines, the author makes a metaphor about poetry "slopping lazily over the couch of a page" while the author has to "remove its muddy shoes and rearrange the pillows". That means that it takes some hard work and long road from the idea and raw material to the finished poem.
