Answer: $35 million (nearest whole million)

Explanation:

To calculate the current year's tax Payable we will start by ascertaining the Net Taxable income.

Fema Corporation did not account for the net operating loss carryforward of $81 million in the $200 million pretax accounting and taxable income for the current year so we have to do that.

Doing that would be,

= $200 million - 81 million

= $119 million

This is the Net Taxable Income.

We will then use the NEW tax rate which was effected immediately to determine the new Tax Payable,

= $119 million * 0.29

= $34.51 million

= $35 million (nearest whole million)

Zara, an intern, is creating a wiki for the veterinary clinic where she works. Which two choices best describe the purposes of t
lana66690 [7]

Answer:

Options B and E.

Explanation:

In order to answer the question, we must first define what a wiki is.

A wiki refers to a website which is collectively created by multiple users. It is a collaborative content management system (CMS) for collecting and organizing media that is created and revised by its users. A popular example is Wikipedia.

From the definition, we can conclude that in the scenario given above, the wiki that Zara is creating will be used by the experts in the veterinary clinic. They will be able to use the wiki website, update contents, and organize media.

Therefore, the two best options would be:

B. To educate veterinarians about the latest surgical techniques. This is because the experts would update the procedures on the wiki website.

E. To allow clinic veterinarians to collaborate on reports.
