Animal behavior researchers often refer to an activity associated with punishment or reward as an operant. The basis for training animals is the operant conditioning. It is a learning process where the animal would learn base from its behavior as it responds to its environment. In this type of learning, the behavior is either increased or decreased by the results that follows the action. It uses rewards and punishments in order to associate with the behavior. For instance, you are trying to teach your dog to fetch an object, if he succeeds in fetching the object, then you give your dog a treat. The dog would think that what it is doing is good and that it would get a reward from it so it would start learning the behavior.

Which of the following shows an incorrect digestion of a molecule into its components?A. Fat digested into fatty acids and glyce
muminat

Introduction to Biology: Biomolecules: Carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, nucleic acids.

The macromolecules such as nucleic acids, carbohydrates, and proteins can form polymers, which means that there is a chain of multiple basic units or monomers.

Proteins are chains of amino acids, nucleic acids are made of nucleotides, and the simplest carbohydrates are monosaccharides such as glucose or galactore.

On the other hand, lipids are very diverse hydrocarbons and include fatty acids, sterols, waxes, phospholipids, monoglycerides, diglycerides, and triglycerides.

Of the options, the one with an incorrect digestion is D, because a sugar or carbohydrate is not made of nucleic acids.

This means D. Sugar digested into nucleic acids would be the correct answer.

an organism had 8 chromosomes in its body cells. how many chromosomes will be in the body cells of the offspring?
larisa [96]

Answer:

8

Explanation:

I am assuming that this organism reproduces sexually. The body cell of the offspring will be the same as the parent. The reproductive cell of the organism will have half the amount of chromosomes as the body cell.

So if the parent has 8 chromosomes in its body cells then the offspring will have 8 chromosomes in its body cells.

A scientist examines the body fossil and trace fossils left by an
emmasim [6.3K]

Given what we know, we can confirm that as scientists study fossil records, they can learn much about the species, such as the traits and activities of the organisms in question.

What does each fossil type teach us?

 • Trace fossils such as footprints can teach us about the activities of the organisms.
 • Meanwhile, scientists will use body fossils to learn about the specific traits of early organisms.
 • Body fossils can at times also provide insight as to the diet of the species.

Therefore, we can confirm that scientists will use body fossils to learn more about the traits and diets of early organisms while using the uncovered trace fossils to track the activities of these organisms.
