Which statement would best serve as a claim for an argument?
Nat2105 [25]
Think about what a claim is. a claim is something that you state, even if you don't have proof. choice C is a fact, not a claim--it would be used as evidence to support a claim, but it doesn't serve as a claim itself.

i would say that B is the most appropriate claim to argue that people should be more nutritionally knowledgeable. choice D is almost a counterargument, in a sense, because it lists a flaw with food labels. choice A is a statement, but it can be proven with evidence--one could look at a food label to search for the listed items.

Which explanation defines the nut graph of a news story
Zielflug [23.3K]

The "Nut Graph" is known as the paragraph that helps to put the story in context, provides any additional information that may be useful for the reader and that can lead to a better understanding of it.

The Nut Graph is often the third or fourth paragraph of the news story and  the information that contains is always related to how the context affects the reader and the story as well.

In journalism, it is used when the writer considers that the reader will need more context in order to understand why, what, who and how it happened, without really saying it, because this answers are normally given during the first and second paragraph.

Which of these sentences features an endorsement? Select all that apply.
kupik [55]

Answer:

Explanation:

It's easier to pick out the one that doesn't which is the second one. Pete won't like that review comment very much.

I take it that the rest were comments left on the site of the company involved. If that is true, Pete would like A, Lou would like C and Lunch Bunch would like D.
