Answer: d) vocalized pauses

Explanation:

Vocalized pauses  is defined as the halts or break that occurs in communication happening in verbal form.It tends to interrupt and break the continuation of the though that is being presented while speaking.

Vocalized pauses are filled in using the filler usually , such as "umm" , "uhh" etc . These kind of verbal sentences makes the sentence meaningless , displays lack of confidence , creates misunderstanding etc. So, Malcolm's instructor is instructing him to reduce vocalized pauses while giving speech.

Other options are incorrect because types of vocal forms, pitch, filler, different variations are not being displayed through Malcolm,'s situation. Thus, the correct option is option(d) .

Television violence does not make viewers fearful of the world around them and makes them more trustful of others is false. This statement is an opinion which could not be true. Television does affect the way some people see the outside world. Whether or not what is shown is real the viewer makes a judgment and from there an expectation of how to perceive the outside world and whether or not be trustful of others.</span>
