The Ku Klux Klan of 1920s was a second KKK organized in 1915 as a mmore formal organization than the previous one, had registered memebers, a state and national structure. In 1920s a klan faction called black legion was active in the midwest of the United States. The black legion wore black uniforms, instead of the characteristic white robe. It was the most violent faction of the klan, and gained notoriety for murdering socialists and communists.
