The Deposition was painted by the artist Raphael. All the other paintings were executed by El Greco, and they are featured by a dramatic use of light and unusual use of colors as well. El Greco lived in a transition period between the renaissance and the baroque. We can introduce him as a mannerist artist because his paintings keep some ideas from the Renaissance artists, but the use of light and dramatic style is a baroque feature.
