you can eliminate short story right off the bat because i will not encourage students to dress up for homecoming.
a lyrical poem does not make any scene so eliminate that.
compare and contrast doesn't make any sense either because it is not trying to compare and contrast dressing up for prom.
so that leaves only one left persuasive this one actually makes sense because persuasive means to try to convince so they are trying to convince/persuade them to dress up therefore
