Hi there. How are you today? I'm in bit of a pinch right now. I've got a geography final exam tomorrow and I also have to host a

n assembly. I'm already really stressed about the exam but the conduction part is just adding to my frustration. I haven't spoken in front of a huge audience in a long time and I'm really nervous. I'm thinking like, "What if someone laughs at me? What if I forget my lines!". Are there some tips you have for me? Even a encouraging compliment would work.
Thank you. Have a great day!

I've been in an assembly before and it's excruciating to put together and host, so I feel you. But I have a couple solutions to your problem.

1. Ask the teacher to choose someone else.                                                            So, if you're too busy, and this assembly hosting is getting in the way, consider asking your teacher to choose someone else, and explain why. You shouldn't be forced to host something when you don't have time.

2. Ask parents to tell the teacher to choose someone else.                                 If you really have no time to put it together, ask your parents to tell the teacher. They will understand if you're too busy.

If you really want to stay in the assembly though, then here are some good tips to really get a good reputation with everyone.

Smile. It doesn't have to be a big toothy grin, just a small one.

Keep Eye Contact. If you look away, they'll get a bad impression of you.

Make sure you have your notes or memorize your lines. Preferably, I would say memorize your lines so they'll think you take the time to memorize, but it's still not bad if you bring notes. Bringing notes would be good if you need to study for the test tomorrow instead.

Try and act excited (happy or joyful, etc.) Be proud of yourself for doing it. Not only will you feel good, but the audience will be glad too! ^^

Which of the following BEST describes what alveoli are? A. They are the smallest tubes in the respiratory system. B. They have a
serious [3.7K]

Alveoli is the smallest part of the respiratory system. The best description about it is “they are the smallest tubes in the respiratory system”.

EXPLANATION

Alveoli’s function is to exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide. Thus, it becomes an important part of the respiratory system. Alveoli’s shape is like tiny balloon-shaped. Its location is at the very end of the respiratory tree. It is arranged in clusters which are throughout the human’s lungs. Alveoli also can be said as the endpoint of the respiratory system. Without alveoli, a human cannot breathe normally.

Due to the important function of alveoli, here are some medical conditions that people have to be aware of:

• Emphysema

• Pneumonia

• Tuberculosis

• Bronchioloalveolar carcinoma

• Acute respiratory distress syndrome

• Respiratory distress syndrome

• Pulmonary edema

We also have to be aware of the effect of tobacco and smoking because these things can affect the function of alveoli. Tobacco and smoking cause the damage, right down to the molecular level. It will disrupt our body’s ability to repair itself. In a serious condition, it will lead to an infection or trauma. The effect of tobacco and smoking also cause a risk to human’s lungs. The damage of the alveoli will cause human’s lungs exposed to the toxic fumes.

Which statement about body mass index (BMI) is true?
NARA [144]
B: It is a way to assess body size, taking height and weight into account.

Explanation:
The body mass index gives a number that tells you if you are normal weight, underweight, or overweight. This does not determine your overall health because it does not take muscle mass into account, and age is not a factor.
