First we have to make it easier to look at. In order to do this, we put the operation in between it. Two parenthesis next to each other is multiplication. This is what it would look like:
5/4 * -1/5

Now the next step is to multiply. The numerator would be negative five (because a negative times a positive is a negative) and the denominator would be 20 (because 5*4=20) This is what it would look like:


-5/20

Now, you may think we are done, but we aren’t! There’s still one more step! We have to simplify! In order to do this, we divide the numerator by the numerator and the denominator by the numerator (-5/-5 and 20/-5) This would look like this:
