1- Victory at Iwo Jima --- March 26th, 1945

The battle of Iwo Jima, or Operation Detachment, was a major confrontation during the Second World War between Japanese and American forces. The battle took place between February 19 and March 26, 1945 on the Japanese island of Ioto, which was mistakenly called Iwo-Jima by the Japanese fleet.

2- Victory at Okinawa --- June 22nd, 1945

The Battle of Okinawa took place from April 1 to June 22, 1945 in southern Japan between Japanese and American forces.

The Americans landed on the small Kerama islands near Okinawa on 26 March 1945 and on Okinawa itself on 1 April. The fight was called tetsu no ame, "rain of steel" by the locals. In this battle the world first became acquainted on a large scale with the phenomenon of kamikaze. On June 23, the last Japanese surrendered after very fierce fighting.

3- Destruction of Hiroshima --- August 6th, 1945

On the morning of August 6, 1945, an American B-29 bomber, named Enola Gay after the mother (Enola Gay Haggard) of the crew commander, Colonel Paul Tibbets, dropped the Little Boy atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima with the equivalent of 13 to 18 kilotons of TNT. The total death toll ranged from 90 to 166 thousand people.

4- Liberation of Philippines --- August 15th, 1945

The liberation of the Philippines was fought as part of the Pacific front of World War II from October 1944 to mid-August 1945 in the homonymous Asian archipelago; the campaign saw the United States air forces, naval and land forces (supported by contingents from other Allied nations such as Australia and Mexico, as well as by Philippine guerrilla forces) facing the Japanese Empire (supported by the puppet state of these created in the Philippines, the Second Philippine Republic).
