Answer: Life is hard, and wages are low.

Explanation:

Every morning I get up at six o'clock. Our apartment is tiny, and we share it with another family. After a modest meal, I go to work. My shift at the iron processing plant starts at seven o'clock. We work daily up to 15 hours, and sometimes we do not rest for weeks. Conditions are harsh, people get hurt every day because we do not have the quality equipment to work.

Ever since I started working here, I've lost seven pounds and am always tired. A month ago, a man was killed at a factory. Large quantities of iron piled on him. Employers who defend the interests of their bosses put constant pressure on us. It isn't very easy, but I have to feed my family.
