I'd split the shape into 1 rectangle, and two semicircles. To find the area of the rectangle, you would do 4 + 4 + 4 = 12, and then 6 × 12 = 72m^{2}
To do the semicircles, the area of a circle is \pi r^{2} so, using 3.14 as pi, you would do 3.14 × 2^{2} = 3.14 × 4 = 12.56. Because there are two semicircles, you can just leave this. Now, you add it on to 72 to get 84.56m^{2}
