I think the answer could be A but I'm not so sure because at first Kayla has 6 boxes with x amount of books in the boxes with four left over so the equation would be 6x+4= number of books. So if she then replaces the now five boxes with x amount of books in them and adds four books to each of the five boxes you get 5x+4=number of books so it all equals out to the same number of books on both sides of the equal sign for 6x+4=5x+4

zlopas [31]

Answer:

150°

Step-by-step explanation:

You are given the formula for the sum of the interior angles where n is the number of sides.

Substitute 12 in:

(12-2)×180

=10×180

=1800

To find an individual angle, divide the sum by n.

1800÷12=150

1. Kyle has a baseball game after school. He drives 6 miles due west from his home to school. After school, he drives 5 miles du
sweet-ann [11.9K]

Answer:

D. 7.8 miles.

Step-by-step explanation:

So, to solve this, you need to use the Pythagorean theorem to find the distance from the baseball field to his home. You know two of the sides of the triangle formed, 6 and 5. The Pythagorean theorem is a² + b² = c². In this case, it would be 6² + 5² = c². If you solve this, you would find that c is 7.81024967591. Just round it to the nearest tenth like instructed. This would get you 7.8 as the answer.

Extra work just in case:

6² + 5² = c²

36 + 25 = c²

61 = c²

\sqrt{61} = \sqrt{c^{2} }

7.8 ≈ c
