Answer:

answer of 13) Lenght of one edge of this cube = 3cm

answer of 14) The area of BCE = 25 cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Any cube has six identical sides.

Let one side have an area of A.

Let the lenght of one cubic side be L.

L * L = A

So this results in L = SQRT (A)

All six A combined add up to 54 cm^2.

Then 6 * A = 54

A = 54/6 = 9 cm^2

L = SQRT (9)

Lenght of one edge of this cube = 3cm

To find the area of BCE you can simply subtract the area of CDE from the biggest triangle BDE.

2 * BDE = {5+4) * 10

so BDE = 45

2 * CDE = 4 * 10

so CDE = 20

BCE = BDE - CDE

BCE = 45 - 20

The area of BCE = 25 cm^2

vovikov84 [41]

Answer:

let length be l and breadth 1/4×l

perimeter of the rectangle =600ft

2(l+1/4×l)=600ft

(4l+l)/4=600/2

5l=300×4

l=1200/5=240ft

Step-by-step explanation:

240ft is the length of a rectangular.

F(x)=
Ahat [919]

Answer:

The function in the form of fog(x) is written as  48 x² + 336 x +  590

Step-by-step explanation:

Given function as :

f(x) = 3 x² - 6 x + 5

g(x) = - 4 x - 13

So, The function in the form of fog(x) is written as

We, substitute the value of g(x) into f(x)

∴ fog(x) = 3 (g(x))² - 6 (g(x)) + 5

Or, fog(x) = 3 (- 4 x - 13 )² - 6 ( - 4 x - 13 ) + 5

or,  fog(x) = 3 (16 x² + 169 + 104 x) + 24 x + 78 + 5

or , fog(x) = 48 x² + 507 + 312 x + 24 x + 78 + 5

or , fog(x) = 48 x² + 336 x +  590

So, The function in the form of fog(x) = 48 x² + 336 x +  590

Hence The function in the form of fog(x) is written as  48 x² + 336 x +  590 Answer

Given that two figures are similar, use a scale factor to find the missing length
anastassius [24]

The missing length x is 99 m.

Solution:

Given polygons are similar.

<em>If two triangles are similar, then the corresponding sides are in proportion.</em>

$\Rightarrow\frac{81}{18}=\frac{x}{22}

Multiply by 22 on both sides, we get

$\Rightarrow\frac{81}{18}\times 22=\frac{x}{22}\times 22

$\Rightarrow\frac{9}{2}\times 22=x

⇒ 9 × 11 = x

⇒ 99 = x

Switch the sides.

⇒ x = 99

The missing length x is 99 m.
