Answer:

Jazz dance

Explanation:

Jazz is a form of personal expression created and sustained by improvisation. In its origin the Jazz Dance has essentially popular roots. With an initial evolution parallel to that of jazz music, it emerged in the U.S. at the end of the last century. It can even be said that it was born directly from African culture.

At first, on the voyages of the slave ships from Africa to the United States, disease-free Africans were forced to dance to maintain their health. The traditional dances of the white lords were the polkas, the waltzes and the gangs, and the blacks imitated them to ridicule them, but danced according to their view of European culture, and mixing a little with the dances they knew, using instruments of their culture. Thus came jazz, which was a mixture of the imitation of European rhythms with the natural customs of Africans.
