Good Treads and Speed Tracks manufacture tires. Good Treads claims that their tires last longer than Speed Tracks tires. A car c

ompany decided to test Good Tread's claim. They purchased 20 sets of Good Tread's tires and 20 sets of Speed Track's tires. They tested the lifetime of each tire by simulating 1,000 miles of driving conditions for each set of tires each day. At the end of each day, they measured the tread on each of the tires. Once the tire tread drops below minimum safe tread depth, the tire is considered to have passed its lifetime.
After observing the lifetime of each tire, the car company reported that the average lifetime of a Good Treads tire is 55,000 miles and the average lifetime of a Speed Tracks tire is 65,000 miles.

Given the car company's report, what conclusion can be made regarding the average lifetime of Good Treads and Speed Tracks tires?
There is not enough information to make any conclusions from the car company's report.

Good Treads' claim is false; therefore, it can be concluded that Speed Tracks tires last longer than Good Treads tires.

What is the simplest form of the expression -2x^2(x+5)+x(2x^2-10x)+x
Softa [21]
For this case we have the following expression:
 -2x ^ 2 (x + 5) + x (2x ^ 2-10x) + x
 Rewriting we have:
 -2x ^ 3 - 10x ^ 2 + 2x ^ 3 - 10x ^ 2 + x
Grouping terms with the same exponent:
 x ^ 3 (-2 + 2) + x ^ 2 (-10 - 10) + x
 -20x ^ 2 + x
 Rewriting:
 x (-20x + 1)
 Answer:

The simple form of the expression is:

x (-20x + 1)

Determine whether the two triangles are similar and, if they are similar, state a reason.
aleksley [76]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

By triangle sum theorem,

Sum of interior angles of a triangle is 180°.

Therefore, measure of third angle in the larger triangle = 180° - (35° + 120°) = 25°

Similarly, measure of third angle in the smaller triangle = 180° - (25° + 120°)

= 35°

Since, measure of interior angles of larger triangle is equal to the measure of smaller triangle,

Both the triangles will be similar by AA property of similarity.
