Answer:

Constructing the given angle using the line segment drawn

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: Two line segment and one angle in between SAS congruence.

SAS congruence is visible when two triangles are similar such that they have same two sides and one angle.

Now to Draw a SAS( side,angle,side) congruent triangle three steps are followed:

1. Draw one of the measured line segment using a scale and pencil.

2. Using protractor, keep the middle of protractor  on one point of line segment and draw the angle given.

3. Using a compass and scale measure the other line segment and draw an arc and finally join.

For example:

Let assume the given requirements as follows:

AB=3 cm, ∠B=45° and BC=5 cm.

Step 1: draw a line AB= 3cm using a ruler and a pencil

Step 2: Keep the protractor on B and measure angle 45°. Make a point where the angle lies and extend a line from B to this point.

Step 3: Measure 5 cm using compass and scale. Keep the point of compass on B  and make an arc on extended line from B. The point where the arc meets the line from B forms point C and is joined to A.

The resultant is triangle  ABC with given requirements.

Answer:

AB = 8

Step-by-step explanation:

AC = 36

AB/BC = 2/7

AB = (2/7)BC

AB + BC = 36

(2/7)BC + BC = 36

(9/7)BC = 36

BC = 36(7/9)

BC = 4*7

BC = 28

AB + BC = 36

AB = 36 - 28

AB = 8

======

Is AB/BC = 2/7?

8/28 = 2/7  YES

Given the system of equations, what is the solution? x 3y = 5 x - 3y = -1 {(-4, -3)} {(2, 1)} {(-2, 3)}
PSYCHO15rus [73]

The solution of the equation is (2, 1).

x=2 and y=1

<h3>What do you meant by equation?</h3>

A mathematical assertion that two expressions are equal is known as equating. It can be expressed as either an identity, in which case the variables can take on any value, or a conditional equation, in which case the variables can only have specific values (roots).

<h3>According to the given information:</h3>

We have two options for finding the answer. The first is to solve the equations via term elimination:

x + 3y = 5  ..............1

x - 3y = -1  ...............2

2x = 4 ..............3

With the equation, we can determine x. (3)

x = 4/2

x = 2

To determine y, we may now swap out x=2 in equation (1).

x + 3y = 5

2 + 3y = 5

3y = 3

y = 1

We've discovered x and y now.

x=2

y=1

The second method involves removing x from equation 1.

x + 3y = 5

x = 5 - 3y

In the equation right now, we may substitute x = 5 - 3y.........  (2)

x - 3y = -1

(5 - 3y) - 3y = -1

5 - 6y = -1

6y = -6

y = 1

Currently, we can change y=1 in equations (1), (2), or (4) to find x.

We'll apply the equation (1)

x + 3y = 5

x + 3(1) = 5

x + 3 = 5

x = 2

The two variants x = 2 and y = 1 have allowed us to confirm this.

Logarithmic to Exponential
jeka57 [31]

A = B \log_x C\\\\\text{Given that,}~~ A = 11, ~B = 4~ C = 190\\\\~~~~~~~~11 = 4 \log_x (190)\\\\\implies \log_x (190) = \dfrac{11}4\\\\\implies x^{\tfrac{11}4} = 190\\\\\implies x = 190^{\tfrac 4{11}}\\\\ \implies x \approx 6.7397

What is the distance between (-2,2) and (4,-6) on coordinate plane
PtichkaEL [24]

Hey there!!

How do we find the distance between two coordinate points?

In order to find the distance, we use this formula :

\sqrt{( x2 - x1 )^{2} + (y2-y1)^{2}}

The given coordinates :

( -2 , 2 ) and ( 4 , -6 )

x2 = 4 and x1 = -2 ; y2 = -6 and y1 = 2

Now, plug in the values :

\sqrt{(4-(-2)^{2} + (-6-2)^{2}}

\sqrt{6^{2} + (-8)^{2}}

\sqrt{36 + 64}

\sqrt{100}

=50

Hence, the distance is 50 units.

Hope my answer helps!
