I'm assuming the 'circular park' is aproximately a circlein that case, 'the way around' would be the circumference'the way across' is the diameter
we know of a relationship between circumference and diameer in the folowing formula: C=πd where C=circumference, d=diameter and π=pi, the irrational number

so if we know C, then d=C/πand π≈3.14159265
so since C=62.8, d=62.8/π≈20 meters
it's about 20meters across the park

The ratio of circumference to diameter of a circle is π, about 3.14. The diameter of the circular park will be about (62.8 m)/3.14 = 20 m.

The park is 20 m across at the widest point.

Hanadi buys a dishwasher for £240 she wants to put a tag with a price on the dishwashee so that in the sale she can give a disco
Elanso [62]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Original price that she paid for the dish washer is £240. She wants to sell it and make a profit of 25%. It means that price at which she would make a profit of 25% is

240 + 25/100 × 240 = 240 + 60 = 300

To determine the price tag of 40% discount and that would still ensure that she makes £300,

Let x represent the price tag in £. It means that a discount of 40% on £x would be 300. A discount of 40% on £x is expressed as

x - (40/100 × x) = x - 0.4x = 0.6x

So 0.6x = 300

x = 300/0.6 = 500

So the price tag will be £500

What is the range of the function f(x) = 3x2 6x – 8?
blsea [12.9K]

The domain of the function 3x² + 6x – 8 is a real number and the range of the function 3x² + 6x – 8 will be (-11, ∞).

<h3>What are domain and range?</h3>

The domain means all the possible values of the x and the range means all the possible values of the y.

The function is given below.

f(x) = 3x² + 6x – 8

The range of the function will be

f(x) = 3x² + 6x – 8

f(x) = 3x² + 6x + 3 – 11

f(x) = 3(x² + 2x + 1) – 11

f(x) = 3(x + 1)² – 11

Then the range of the function will be from -11 to infinity.

More about the domain and range link is given below.
