What made the economies of the northern, southern, and middle colonies different?
Keith_Richards [23]

Answer:

What they sold and the geography was a bug part of it.

Explanation:

The southern sold cash crops because of the long growing seasons and hot summers. The New England made money lumber, fishing, and whaling because they had poor soil, cold winters, and short growing seasons. The middle had pretty decent weather and climate so most of their money was made from grain and livestock giving them the nickname the breadbasket colonies.

In the end it depended on what they used to make money.

The Navigation Acts: a. required certain commodities to be traded within the British empire only. d. were abolished in 1700. c.
Vaselesa [24]

.Answer:

E. Both A and C are correct, is the correct answer.

Explanation:

The Navigation acts were series of laws passed by British parliament in 1651. It imposed rules that only English ships could transport goods outside Europe and that the goods produced in Europe would be shipped by English ships or by the ship of originating country. These rules were meant to target Dutch shipping which controlled a large section of Europe's trade. After the restoration of king Charles Second in 1660 , the rules were modified to cover the exports as well. The Parliament also tried to control the colonial trade by imposing restraint the colonies from exporting their products and banning the foreign ships from the trade. These laws were unpopular among the colonialists  and caused resentment and American revolution. The navigation acts lasted till 1849.
