0.386 × 10²³ units of KCl

Explanation:

Potassium K will react with chlorine Cl₂ to produce potassium chloride KCl:

2 K + Cl₂ → 2 KCl

number of moles = mass / molecular weight

number of moles of K = 2.5 / 39 = 0.0641 moles

Taking in account the chemical reaction we devise the following reasoning:

if          2 moles of K produces 2 moles of KCl

then    0.0641 moles of K produces X moles of KCl

X = ( 0.0641 × 2) / 2 = 0.0641 moles of KCl

To find the number of units of KCl (KCl is not a molecule, it is an ionic compound) we use Avogadro's number:

if in         1 moles of KCl there are 6.022 × 10²³ units of KCl

then in   0.0641 moles of KCl  there are Y units of KCl

Y = (0.0641 × 6.022 × 10²³) / 1 = 0.386 × 10²³ units of KCl

Under what conditions would the enthalpy change of a process be equal to the amount of heat transferred into or out of the syste
Zina [86]

Answer:

at constant pressure the enthalpy change of a process equal the amount of heat transferred into or out of the system

Explanation:

∆H=∆(E+PV)

=∆E+P∆V

∆E=qp+w

w=P∆V

∆H=∆E+P

∆V=(qp+w)-w=qp

when qp= heat at constant pressure

good luck

You are given a solution of hcooh (formic acid) with an approximate concentration of 0.20 m and you will titrate this with a 0.1
balu736 [363]
V(NaOH)*M(NaOH)=V(HCOOH)M(HCOOH)
35.43ml*0.1150m=20.00ml*M(HCOOH)
M(HCOOH)=0.2037m

Plz help fast. Which of the following represents a chemical change? (2 points)
Dahasolnce [82]

Answer:

1. Decomposition of stone due to acid rain.

3. The pink color of a rose.

Explanation:

Chemical changes always end up with new products in an equation, or it has always something to do with chemicals. Physical changes on the other hand, do not result in new products and it just changes the physical properties and physical state of matter of the object.
