Answer:

300 non atheletes

Step-by-step explanation:

Data obtained from the question include:

Ratio of athletes = 3

Ratio of non atheletes = 4

Total ratio = 3 + 4 = 7

Number of atheletes = 225

Number of non atheletes =?

To begin our calculations, let us obtain the total number of people present. This is illustrated below:

Let the total number of people present be T.

Number of athletes = ratio of athletes / tota ratio x T

3/7 x T = 225

Cross multiply to express in linear form

3T = 7 x 225

Divide both side by the coefficient of T i.e 3

T = (7 x 225) /3

T = 525

Therefore there are 525 people present.

Remember that the people present are atheletes and non atheletes i.e

Total = atheletes + non atheletes

Total = 525

Atheletes = 225

Non atheletes =?

Total = atheletes + non atheletes

525 = 225 + non atheletes

Collect like terms

Non atheletes = 525 - 225

Non atheletes = 300.

Therefore, there are 300 non atheletes present in the sch

So we first 225/3=75 so we know that that is the common x. Now we multiply it by 4 to get the non athletes. =300 I believe

You pay 3.5% annual simple interest for 12 years on a loan, and you pay $1,512 in interest. How much is the principal?
Anika [276]
A = Pe^rt
Amount of interest paid = Principal*e^ (rate*time)
(The rate must be in decimal form)
3.15% / 100 = .0315

1,512 = P[e^(.0315*12)]
1,512 / e^(.0315*12) = P
1036.06 = P
$1036.06 was the Principal
** I left that value unrounded to the hundreds place because one doesn’t round with money. :)

Good luck!

The function f(x) is shown in this graph.
Alexus [3.1K]

Answer:

A maybe?

Step-by-step explanation:

by looking at the graph you can see there are two points with one being at (0, 3) (given) and the other being at (1, 1) (by looking at the graph). You can use the slope formula (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1) which gives you the slope.

Plug Values In:

(1-3) / (1-0) = -2/1 = -2

slope of f(x) = -2

slope of g(x) = -7 (slope-intercept form y=mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept)

I'm honestly not quite sure what it means by greater than since technically the slope of f(x) is greater than the slope of g(x) but does it mean how much it's changing by in which case the sign doesn't matter. Although I'm just going to assume it purely means the value in which case A is true.
