To solve this let write the equation

(1/5) > (1/4) True or false

Hard to compare without a common denominator. So lets get a common denominator 20 seems like a good number

(4/20) > (5/20) we can see that 1/4 is greater than 1/5 so the answer is false

Calculate the area of QRS
Eduardwww [97]

Answer:

 153 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

The area is given by the formula ...

 A = (1/2)bh

where b is the base length, and h is the height measured perpendicular to the base.

The diagram shows b = QR = 18 cm, and h = 17 cm. So, the area is ...

 A = (1/2)(18 cm)(17 cm)

 A = 153 cm²

Hi please help with a few (mean, median) math questions!
sattari [20]
1.rearrange your data from least to greatest:
0,0,1,1,2,2,2,14

middle is 1 and 2 ... so median is 1+2/2= 1.5 and it is the median not the mean
2.I believe the only outlier is 50. Finding the mean would be 80.11.
The answer would be D
3.D. Mean always goes toward the skewness due to outliers.
Median is minimally affected by outliers.
4.We remove an outlier because we can simply assume that there was some type of extreme experimental error, or something went wrong. The mean shouldn't be effected that much, but the median will be greatly effected.

Find the equation of a line that is perpendicular to a line whose equation is 6x - y = -1 and passes through the point ( -1, 5 )
Svet_ta [14]
-y=-6x-1
-1(-y=-6x-1)
y=6x+1
5=6(-1)+b
5=-6+b
