Okay, so I recognized "Lenore" from Edgar Allen Poe's poem, "The Raven."

The narrator's love, Lenore, died- this is supported by the following contextual evidence:

"From my books surcease of sorrow—sorrow for the lost Lenore—

For the rare and radiant maiden whom the angels name Lenore—

           Nameless here for evermore."

Hopefully this helps you understand this illustrious poem better! It is one of my favorites.

“Suddenly I’m Eve in the Garden after she ate the fruit…” (10). Why do you think the author used this analogy?
SSSSS [86.1K]

Answer:

A literary device I used for this quote was a Metaphor. I used this quote because Starr tells the reader how she feels about being at the party with the one person she only knew left her hanging She knew she would be uncomfortable going to a party where she didn't know anyone Now that her sister left her hanging, she felt like she was naked in a Garden where apples were already eaten, its like she was invisible.
