Part One: The employees must sell 72 pizzas in order to receive bonus.

Part Two: There is a 10% increase in the sales.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Pizzas sold yesterday = 60

(part one) The owner offers the employees a bonus if the number of pizzas sold increases by 20% today. How  many pizzas must the pizzeria sell for employees to receive the bonus?

Sales to increase = 20% of yesterday sales

Sales to increase = \frac{20}{100}*60 = 12\ pizzas

Total = Pizzas sold yesterday + Sales to increase

Total = 60+12 = 72 pizzas

The employees must sell 72 pizzas in order to receive bonus.

(part two) Suppose the actual number of pizzas sold today was 66. Describe the number of pizzas sold as a  percent increase or decrease, rounded to the nearest hundredth.

Number of pizzas sold = 66

Difference = Pizzas sold today - Pizzas sold yesterday

Difference = 66-60 = +6

The positive sign indicates the increase in sales.

Increase percent = \frac{Difference}{Pizzas\ sold\ yesterday}*100

Increase percent = \frac{6}{60}*100 = \frac{600}{60}

Increase percent = 10%

There is a 10% increase in the sales.

Answer: 262,000? I'm just guessing

Step-by-step explanation:

one product costs $14 to produce. It is mentioned that you need to produce 14,000 products or items, so you multiply 14 by 14,000 to know the total cost of producing 14,000 items or products, the answer is 196,000, remember there is also a start-up cost of 66,000. So you must add 196,000 to 66,000 which leads to 262,000. Hope this helps :)
