I believe advertisements like this are bad for teens. Teens now when the see a picture of someone that is “perfect” they look down on themselves and their self-esteem level goes down. So, someone could see this and think I want to be skinny so then they start eating less and less until they are laying in a hospital bed.

From what I learnt so far reading my Medical Terminology Book:

I have discovered that one cannot do well as medical student and as a practitioner if one does not have sound understanding of medical terms.

I feel so good understanding these basics. At least I would easily understand my lecturers now especially whenever I'm in anatomy and physiology class

Some few terms I feel are very important to always remember are:

  • Anterior
  • Posterior
  • Dorsal
  • Ventral
  • Caudal
  • Cranial
  • Lateral
  • Rostroventral
  • Caudolateral
