Someone who's suicidal may be tempted to bottle up feelings because he or she feels ashamed, guilty or embarrassed. Be supportive and understanding, and express your opinions without placing blame. Listen attentively and avoid interrupting. Be respectful and acknowledge the person's feelings.
Tell them that they are worth it. Tell them that you will get through this with them. Tell them that everything would be fine if you don't end your life. Tell them that they are going to be missing out on everything the world has to offer them tell them that they have to be ready and strong for anything life has to offer because if you not prepared then it would blow them over but they always get back up again. Tell them that you love them for who they are and they don't have to change a thing for somebody else to love them.
