Not everything you read on the internet is true, but the news has talked alot about it.
If you think about it, think about everyone else but do what you can where you are. For example, throwing a water bottle on the ground, instead of throwing it in the recycling bin, is effecting the whole world in a way, but if you act locally and plant trees, and recycle water bottles and aluminum cans, you're thinking globally, but acting locally. Food: Low income is associated with a poor quality dietary intake. Compared to those with higher income, lower income individuals consume fewer fruits and vegetables, more sugary beverages and have lower overall diet quality. They also have a harder time finding grocery stores which is called a "Food Desert."
Housing: Neighborhood characteristics have a particularly strong effect on mental health, but also influence risk for many negative physical health outcomes. Research finds that affordable housing located in low-poverty neighborhoods improves health outcomes for residents moving from areas of concentrated poverty.
Education: Poverty reduces a child's readiness for school because it leads to poor physical health and motor skills, diminishes a child's ability to concentrate and remember information, and reduces attentiveness, curiosity and motivation.
You can make a chart that compares each part of poverty. A Venn Diagram would be a good chart to use but that part is up to you.
Hope this helps! :))
