If an author uses the pronoun “you” to tell a story, what is the probable point of view?
ludmilkaskok [199]
1. In my opinion, the correct answer is A) first person. If a text refers to "you", there has to be an "I" that is speaking. The second-person point of view doesn't really exist, and the third-person point of view wouldn't use a "you", except in dialogues.

2. In my opinion, the best option is C) imply. While reading, making connections between various elements of the text is necessary, as well as asking questions to clarify what might seem to be unclear at first. However, we should refrain from implying things, as it might lead to a wrong conclusion.

3. The correct answer is C) swirl. "Purl" is a verb that has several different meanings: to knit something with a purl stitch, to embroider or finish something, but also to whirl, swirl, or flow in circles.

How does O. Henry's use of third-person narration in "After Twenty Years" affect the story?
gayaneshka [121]

O. Henry's use of third-person narration in "After Twenty Years" affects the story by forging a bond between the reader and the main character. Henry’s use of third person narration allowed him to narrate the story through what is done and seen and not by what the characters thinks. The third person narration was effective in handling the surprise climax of the story’ end.

Olenka [21]

The ending of this book cannot change the way that everyone starts going crazy by being on an island for so long alone pretty much would be that they have do crazy things that they’ve never really done before and get out of their comfort zone which makes him go crazy. They start killing each other hunting wild animals and torturing each other. Having A different ending to the story would just make it as if it was just another good story but no it shows the realty off what people can do when they’re crazy. ( might have to flx the grammar but yeah)
