Two families bought tickets for the big football game. One family ordered 2 adult tickets and 3 children's tickets for a total o

f
$50.00. Another family ordered 3 adult tickets and 4 children's tickets for a total of $71.00.
Write a system of linear equations that models this scenario by filling in the blanks below. Notice I have only provided the
variables and the equal sign, you will need to fill in all other numbers and/or symbols (like addition or subtraction).

The cost per adult ticket is $13 and the cost per children ticket is $8

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the cost of adult tickets be 'x'

Let the cost of children tickets be 'y'

2x + 3y = 50

2x = 50 - 3y

x = (50 - 3y) /2

3x + 4y = 71

[3(50-3y) /2 ]+ 4y = 71

(150 - 9y) /2 + 4y = 71

150 - 9y + 8y = 142

150 - y = 142

y = 150 - 142

y = 8

x = (50-3y) /2

x = (50-24) /2

x = 13

The cost per adult ticket is $13 and the cost per children ticket is $8

keith made $306.00 for 18 hours of work at the same rate how many hours would he have to work to make $204.00
Mice21 [21]
306 / 18 = 17
So he's on $17 / hour

$204 / $17 = 12.
Therefore he'd make $204 in 12 hours.

Determine whether the following sampling is dependent or independent. Indicate whether the response variable is qualitative or q
NeTakaya

Answer:

1. option D

2. option A

Step-by-step explanation:

Independent samples are samples that are selected randomly so that its observations do not depend on the values other observations. Thus, this sampling is independent. The sampling is independent because an individual selected for one sample does not dictate/affect which individual is to be in the second sample.

The variable is qualitative because it is an attribute classification. A qualitative variable are variables that are not numerical. It describes data that fits into categories (personality type).
