the reason why is because the car starts at 0mph and as the car increases in speed the line will continue to increase and then the car stays at a constant speed which means the line will not go up or down on the y but will get longer on x because of time. and then the the speed decreases. and the only graph that shows an increase, constant, and decrease is graph A.
