X-7/10 = 1/6

First divide 7 by 10 = 0.7
X-0.7=1/6

Add .7 to both sides
X= 1/6 + 0.7

X= 1/6 + 7/10
Get a like denominator , in this case it's 30 5 + 21 / 30 = x

Answer:
X = 26/30

Which value is closest to the perimeter of the window
Eddi Din [679]

Answer:

9.82 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

the perimeter of the window is the circumference of a semi-circle with a diameter of 5

P = (πd)/2     (divided in half because it's only half a circle)

P ≈ 3.14(3.5) which is approx 11

11 is closest to 9.82

Find the length of x
damaskus [11]

Answer:

32

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's assume that the triangles are similar.

\frac{16}{12} = \frac{24}{18} = \frac{x}{24}

\frac{x}{24} = \frac{4}{3} => x = \frac{24}{3} * 4= 8 * 4 = 32

A package of cookies contains 6 cookies. Each package of cookies costs $1.49. A function, f(x), is written to represent the cos
Ronch [10]
You define a function f(x) which gives the cost of buying x packages of cookies. You are asked for the domain of the function. That is, what values can x take on? x is the number of packages bought.

It makes no sense to buy a negative number of packages. It also makes no sense to buy 1/2 a package or 3/4 of a package as the store won’t sell you a fraction of a package. Try going to the store and buying half a package of oreo cookies. I doubt you’ll get very far :)

So it makes sense to buy 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, ... boxes of cookies. These are whole numbers. So the domain is the set of whole numbers. You could also write the domain like this {0, 1, 2, 3, ...} making sure to use the curly brackets as those denote a set.

You can see how many standard deviations a score is from the mean of the distribution for a raw score or a z-score is by looking
Semmy [17]

Answer:

True

Step-by-step explanation:

Z-score may be defined as a position of the raw score in regard to the distance from its mean when it is measured in the units of standard deviation. Z-score is considered as positive, when the values is above the mean. And when it is below the mean, it is considered as negative.

Another name of a z-score is standard score. Z-score can be measured using the relation :

$z=\frac{x-\mu}{\sigma}$

where, z = z-score

           x = raw score

           μ = population mean

           σ = population standard deviation

Thus from the formula we can see how many standard deviation the score is from a men of the distribution by looking at the corresponding z-score.
