Answer: The Alien Acts were aimed at aliens, or people who lived in a country that were not citizens of that country, and the first one extended how many years that immigrants needed to wait before they were able to become a citizen, the next two gave the president the power to deport an immigrant without trial of they seemed dangerous to the nation. The Sedition Acts made it illegal for anyone to criticize the government or any government official.
