Answer:

n = -15         and          m = -3

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve the given system of equation, we will follow the steps below:

n = 5m ----------------------------------------------------------------------------(1)

n = \frac{2}{3}  m -13 ---------------------------------------------------------------------(2)

substitute for n= 5m in equation (2)

5m =  \frac{2}{3}  m -13

subtract \frac{2}{3} m from both-side of the equation

5m -  \frac{2}{3} m  = \frac{2}{3} m -  \frac{2}{3}  m -13

At the right-hand side of the equation  \frac{2}{3} m  will cancel-out leaving us with just -13

5m -  \frac{2}{3} m  = -13

\frac{15m - 2m }{3} = -13

\frac{13m}{3} = -13

multiply both-side of the equation by 3

3 ×  \frac{13m}{3} = -13 ×  3

At the left-hand side of the equation 3 will cancel-out 3 leaving is with just 13m

13m = -39

Divide both-side of the equation by 13

13m/13  = -39/13

m = -3

substitute m = -3 in  equation (1)

n = 5m

n = 5 (-3)

n = -15

Therefore, n = -15         and          m = -3

Exterior Angles and Isosceles Triangles
Ad libitum [116K]

Step-by-step explanation:

this is not an isoceles triangle.

anyway, we need to remember 2 things :

1. the sum of all angles in a triangle is always 180°.

2. the sum of all angles around a single point on a line is 360° (as this point wound be the center of an invisible circle). and as the line cuts this circle in half, the angles on one side of the line around this point is therefore 180°.

so, the internal angle Q is then

180 = 50 + 55 + Q

Q = 180 - 50 - 55 = 180 - 105 = 75°

the exterior angle x at Q is then

180 = Q + x = 75 + x

x = 180 - 75 = 105°

Hey! How do I write 0.29 (both 2 and 9 are recurring) as a fraction?
Montano1993 [528]
Hi there!

Since a decimal is a portion of 1 we can simply put a 100 in the denominator to form it into a fraction.

By doing this, we get the fraction 29/100.

Since there is no simplifying we can do for the fraction this is it's final form!

Your answer would be 0.29 = 29/100.
