The correct answer is A) to remind citizens of their constitutional rights.

The common purpose behind Jefferson Davis’s and Abraham Lincoln’s inaugural addresses was to remind citizens of their constitutional rights.

Jefferson Davis (1808-1889) was the President of the Confederate States during the Civil War. He gave his first inaugural address on February 18, 1861, in the Alabama Capitol in Mongomery.

Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865) gave his inaugural address on March 4, 1861, as the President of the Union States, in Washington. Both presidents took the podium and one of the important topics of their speech was to remind citizens of their constitutional rights.

The other options of the question were B) to encourage citizens to maintain peace and unity, C) to share their vision for the future, and D) to reveal their enemies weaknesses.

Where can you find a book to read for free? Check all that apply.
lbvjy [14]

Answer:

At a library, in a public domain database, and through a friend or teacher.

Explanation:

The only two answers that do not need to be selected is "at a nearby bookstore" and "through an online bookstore" The word "store" gives it away because if you go to a store in town or online, you have to buy whatever it is you need with money; therefore it is not free.

Hope this helps!
