Answer:

As given Rectangle ABCD is reflected over the y- axis.

When a shape or geometrical figure is reflected through a line it's distance that is distance of image from line and distance of Pre-image from that line is always same. Also perpendicular distance of vertices of any polygon that is considered for reflection has same distance from that line after reflection and before reflection.

Suppose the coordinate of A be (x,y) and considering Rectangle A B CD lie in first quadrant then when it is reflected through y - axis that is through the line x=0, it's new coordinate will become A' (-x,y).

If rectangle is in second quadrant having Vertices that is vertices of A (-x,y) then reflected over line that is x=0,→ y axis then Vertices of A' (x,y).

If rectangle is in third quadrant having Vertices that is vertices of A (-x,-y) then reflected over line that is x=0,→ y axis then Vertices of A' (x,-y).

If rectangle is in fourth quadrant having Vertices that is vertices of A (x,-y) then reflected over line that is x=0,→y axis then Vertices of A' (-x,-y).

The tail of a 1-mile long train exits a tunnel exactly 3 minutes after the front of the train entered the tunnel. If the train i
igomit [66]

The tail of the train starts one mile from the mouth of the tunnel and it must travel that distance plus the length of the tunnel in 3 minutes.

Let t = tunnel length

t + 1  = distance the tail must travel in 3 minutes.

3 minutes = 1/20 hr

 (t+1) miles  /  60 m/hr  = 1/20 hr

t + 1 = 60/20

t+1 = 3

Subtract 1 from each side:

t = 2

The tunnel is 2 miles long.

He goodness of fit is measured by χ2. This statistic measures the amounts by which the observed values differ from their respect
Murrr4er [49]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Hello!

Table is attached.

1) Purple stem/short petals.

(o-e)= 220-225= -5

(o-e)²= (-5)²= 25

(o-e)²/e= 25/225= 1/9

2) Green stem/short petals

(o-e)= 210-225= -15

(o-e)²= (-15)²= 225

(o-e)²/e= 225/225= 1

3) Purple stem/ long petals

(o-e)= 231-225= 6

(o-e)²= (6)²= 36

(o-e)²/e= 36/225= 4/25

4) Green stem/ long petals

(o-e)= 239-225= 14

(o-e)²= (14)²= 196

(o-e)²/e= 196/225 (≅ 0.871)

To reach the statistic value you have to add the four values obtained in the last row:

X²= 1/9+1+4/25+196/225= 482/225≅ 2.142

I hope you have a SUPER day!
