Answer: The Lewis and Clark expedition started in 1804 and ended in 1805. This expedition benefited America great deal in that it help develop a fur and lumber trade. The expedition also brought about land settlement for best agricultural production.

It also allowed the new country, America to blossom in greatness as it had acquired more lands which lead to more resources at hand and more power.
