A family member who hasn’t worked with computers before has decided to change jobs. You’ve been asked to explain some of the bas

ics. You begin by explaining the basic idea of word processing software, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software. You sense that the following question is coming: “Why so many different things? Why can’t there just be one software that you could use for everything?” How would you answer?

9.1.3: Printing vector elements with a for loop. Write a for loop to print all NUM_VALS elements of vector courseGrades, followi
svlad2 [7]

Answer:

The program to this question as follows:

Program:

#include <iostream> //defining header file

#include <vector> //defining header file

using namespace std;

int main() //defining main method

{

//defining integer variable NUM_VALS and i.

int NUM_VALS = 4,i;//assign value in NUM_VALS variable

vector<int> courseGrades(NUM_VALS); //defining vector array

cout<<"Input values: "; //print message

for(i=0;i<NUM_VALS;i++) //loop for input value

{

//input value in verctor array

cin>>courseGrades[i]; //input from user-end

}

for (i = 0; i < NUM_VALS; i++) //loop to print value

{

cout<<courseGrades[i]<< " ";//print value

}

cout << endl;//for new line

for (i = NUM_VALS-1;i >= 0;i--)//loop to print value in reverse order

{

//print value in reverse order

cout << courseGrades[i] << " "; //print value

}

cout << endl; //for new line

return 0;

}

Output:

Input values: 2

3

5

6

2 3 5 6

6 5 3 2

Explanation:

In the above-given code two integer variable "NUM_VALS and i" is declared, in which variable "NUM_VALS" assigns a value, that is 4, in the next step, a vector array "courseGrades" is defined, in which we take input from the user end.

  • In the next step two for loop is declared, in the first loop we simply print the value of the "courseGrades".
  • The second loop is also used to print the "courseGrades" value but, in the reverse order.

.in the array based list implementation of the ADT what is the worst case time efficiency of the getEntry method?
kenny6666 [7]

Answer:

c.O(n)

Explanation:

In the array based list implementation of the ADT the worst case time complexity of the getEntry method is O(n).In the worst case it has to travel upto n elements then it has to do the operation.In doing so  the time complexity will come out to be O(n).So we conclude that the answer to this question is O(n).

What is Roko's Basilisk?
serious [3.7K]

Answer:

Roko’s basilisk is a thought experiment proposed in 2010 by the user Roko on the Less Wrong community blog. Roko used ideas in decision theory to argue that a sufficiently powerful AI agent would have an incentive to torture anyone who imagined the agent but didn't work to bring the agent into existence.

what would be the result of running these two lines of code
MatroZZZ [7]

Answer:

Jog

Explanation:

The variable options is a list containing 5 string values

options = ["ski", "surf", "jog", "bike", "hike"]

Indexing in python starts from 0 ; hence the index values of the list values are :

0 - ski

1 - surf

2 - jog

3 - bike

4 - hike

The statement ;

print(options[2]) means print the string at index 2 in the list named options

The string at index 2 is jog ;

Hence, the string jog is printed.

What the repeal of online privacy protections means for you?
kvv77 [185]
Online Privacy is well, our privacy while on the internet. If they have repealed that, then we have no privacy while on the internet. I feel like now a days there is no privacy at all anywhere. Everywhere you go, there are cameras watching you. So for them to take away online privacy is pretty messed up.
