Basically, it exposed what seemed like acts of God as science. You think you got a life threatening disease because God is trying to punishing you? Nah, you just need to wash your hands more. You think that the colored lights in the sky is God saying he loves you? Nah, it's just still kinda rainy while the sun is out.
