Answer:

8 minutes

Step-by-step explanation:

Speed or Rate = Distance / time

Distance = Speed × time

Nicholas's sand castle is 30 cm tall and he is adding sand at a rate of 12 cm per minute.

Nicholas = Nina

30cm + (12cm/min)x

= 30 + 12x

Nina's sand castle is 78 cm tall and she is adding more sand to it at a rate of 6 cm per minute.

78cm + (6cm/min)x

78 + 6x

30 + 12x = 78 + 6x

12x - 6x = 78 - 30

6x = 48

x = 48/6

x = 8 minutes

Therefore, after 8 minutes, Nina and Nicholas's sand castles be the same height.

Answer:

Easter, Christmas, birthdays, and New Year

Step-by-step explanation:

For me, I would choose Easter because before easter we always go to a church and stay there whole night. After 3-4 a.m, we go home and take a nap. But the most fun activity that we do during Easter is playing a game where we pick the best eggs and beat with each other. Later, our parents hide eggs and a couple of toys in the park and me and my siblings begin finding them.

Rewrite the following equation in slope-intercept form.
Nana76 [90]

Answer:

y=1.7x + 1.3

Step-by-step explanation:

16x + 15y =20

therefore we make the variable stand on its own

15y = 20 - 16x

Divide both sides by the variable which is 15.

it will be y= 1.3 - 1 7x

so therefore the answer is :

y= 1.7x + 1.3

How do you get the same base for the power
rewona [7]
You use division

over 2 or 4 or 3 or 5 or 7 and so on
in this case 2 is good

64 = 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 ( use division) = 2^6

16 = 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 = 2^4

number reminder
64 0
32 0
16 0
8    0
4   0
2   0
1   1

so 64 = 2^6 (number of zeros) no reminder
