The correct answer is D.

When the Rwandan genocide took place in the 1990s, around a million of Tutsi people were slaugthered in the streets all over the country, by member sof the other major ethnic group in Rwanda, the Hutus. The role of the main radio station in the country was very significant, as it was under Hutu power and it kept on encouraging Hutu people to murder their Tutsi neighbours during the whole time the genocide lasted and discouraging peace efforts. It was the main propaganda instrument used by the Hutu power.

Its effects were even more significant due to the predominant share of illiterate people in the country, who could not contrast the information they obtained from the radio and firmly believed what they heard.

Olin [163]

Answer:

The answer is enconding.

Explanation:

Enconding is a function of memory responsible for processing and interpreting information, allowing it to be stored in the short- or long-term memory. It is the first step for creating memories.

Encoding requires attention. In the example, the reason you can't remember the position of the watch is because you never paid attention to it. Studies reveal that emotional motivation increases attention, and thus the likeness to remember the information.

Dmitriy789 [7]

Answer: The cultivation effect.

Explanation:

The cultivation effect  theory as  proposed by George Gerbner explains how the  role of the media can influence  people's perception of the world over long exposure.According to this  theory,  people who constantly watch television are more susceptible  to be influenced by media  messages  and which in no time aligns with their thoughts and how they view the world around them.

Therefore for example in the question, If someone constantly watches a lot of violent and crime movies eg law and order, his or her perception of the environment will change regardless of living in an area void of violent crime rates.
