Call the 1% account X After 3 years the interest it earned is X times 1% for 3 years =X(.01)(3) =0.03X The 2.5% account has (1000 - X) dollars It earns (1000-X(.025)(3) =(1000 - X)(.075) =75-.075X The total of the interest is 55 Therefore .03X + 75 -.075X = 55 - .045X = 55 - 75 -.045X = -20 .045X = 20 45X =20000 X = 20000 / 45 X = $ 444.44 Therefore the amount invested id the 2.5% account is 1000 - 444.44 =$ 555.56

A pyramid has a square base with sides of length s. The height of the pyramid is equal to 1/2 of the length of a side on the bas
ELEN [110]

Answer:

V = (s^3)/6  (Answer B )

Step-by-step explanation:

If the length of a side of the base is s, then the height of the pyramid is half that, or s/2.

The volume of a pyramid with a square base and base side length S and height H is V = (1/3)(S^2)(H).

In this case, the formula is V = (1/3)(s^2)(s/2), or V = (s^3)/6  (Answer B)

THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT 7TH GRADE MATH:
Oksana_A [137]

Rectangle perimeter is 53 meters.

L = W + 2.3

To find the options of a perimeter, divide by 4.

= 13.25

So if this was a square, it would be 13.25 for both L and W but it's not.

Since the W has 2.3 meters more then the L, we do this.

13.25 + 2.3 = 15.55

13.25 - 2.3 = 10.95

Two of your sides equal 15.55, and the other two equal 10.95.

Hope this helps!

How many triangles are formed by the angles and sides-unique triangle, no triangle, or many triangle
kirill115 [55]

No triangle formed

Solution:

Given data:

One angle is 45°

Another angle is 108°

One side is 7 cm

To find how many triangles are formed for the given data.

Let the unknown side of a triangle be x°.

Sum of all the sides of a triangle = 180°

45° + 108° + x° = 180°

⇒ x° = 180° – 45° – 108°

⇒ x° = 27°

There is no such angle can be formed with 27° in the given image.

Hence there is no triangle can be formed.
