This was similar when the U.S soldiers subjected the Iraqi soldiers to humiliation at Abu Ghraib. The prisoners accepted psychological abuses where U.S soldiers photographed and took pictures of the Iraqi soldiers which was similarly done to prisoners of the Stanford experiment where certain portions of the experiment were filmed.

Since America is all about freedom and rights, other countries may look at that and see that America is a good country. In my opinion, America has pretty decent laws and a fine voting system. Others will see that as well.
