11.6, c because to convert grams to ounces youd first do (330g)(1pound/454g)(16ounces/1 pound)=11.62, so basically youd multiply 330x16/454

11.6 ounces

330g x 1lb/454g x 16oz/1lb = 11.6 ounces

If the conversion factors are properly set up and all numbers are correct, the unwanted units cancel out leaving the units of the final answer. (citing my source usa test prep but i worked it out.)

Soviet satellites formed in the eastern bloc. True or False
oee [108]

Answer:

True

Explanation:

Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Hungary, Poland, and Romania were the Soviet satellite states that formed in the Eastern bloc of Europe. Those nations were part of the Warsaw Pact, signed along with the Soviet Union in 1955. The name of that pact stems from the facts that the agreement was signed in Warsaw, Poland. Albania also was an original signer of the Warsaw Pact, but split its relationship with the Soviet Union some years later.

Prior to the end of World War II, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and US President Franklin Roosevelt pushed strongly for Soviet leader Josef Stalin to allow free elections to take place in the nations of Europe after the war. Stalin had stated agreement with his fellow Allied leaders. But after the war ended, Stalin and the Soviets never did allow those free elections to occur. The Soviets felt they needed the Eastern European nations as satellites to protect their own interests. A line of countries in Eastern Europe came into line with the USSR and communism -- thus called "satellites."

Compare the Silk Road with the Great Wall of China as symbols of Chinese foreign policy.
arlik [135]

The third alternative is correct (C).

Both the Wall of China and the Silk Road represented, in their respective periods, the political power of China as a nation.

The Great Wall crosses mountains and rivers and is considered one of the great wonders of the world. Many of the stones used in its construction measure more than two meters and its weight exceeds one ton. The main reason for its construction was the desire to defend itself against the attacks of the nomadic peoples of the north, but also was used to transfer people and armaments at great speed from one side to another, demonstrating the technological character of the work.

The Silk Road was a series of commercial and cultural transmission routes that were central to the cultural interaction between the West and the East. Silk was certainly China's main trade item, but many other goods were also marketed. These routes allowed the development of strong commercial relations of the Chinese empire with Persia, India and the Roman Empire.

Why would states with smaller populations favor each state having one vote in Congress? What might be the position of states wit
Marina86 [1]

Answer:

Because it lets them have equal say with other states

Explanation:

States with smaller populations favor having a set number of representatives in Congress because it allows them to still have an influence on politics. If representation in a body of power depends on population size, then the states with a larger population will have more representatives, and therefore the interests of the larger states will be pushed more, while the smaller states' voices will be drowned out. Larger states would most likely prefer representation based on population because it gives them more say on politics and because it serves the interests of the majority of the overall population.

Should we ensure that the winner of the popular vote also wins the Electoral College?
skad [1K]
Yes because if the president gets the most electoral votes and popularity vote he should be the president of the United States since he won both. My reasons are for we can know the president won the election fairly and honestly. And for there is a pretty clear winner and who’s gonna be the next president of the United States.
