I feel that crayons are not as good as coloring pencils or markers, because they do not draw nicely. If you go over it, it will have an erase-like effect that will leave a spot white. Crayons are better for smaller children who are not allowed to use pens or markers, because it lets them have a more creative imagination. They are easier to use on bigger spaces, rather than adult coloring books that have small spaces to color.
Crayons. The happy colorful tool you first use as a kid. Nostalgic as it is, in some cases, they're not exactly kid-friendly. It's non-toxic and safe to use in some cases, but they can make a mess. They're hard to wash off walls, and just pile up over the years as plain garbage. The only they have is sharpen, use, throw away, melt, reuse, it's the same process over and over again. Nothing new. They smell after a couple of years and are suffocatingly unbearable at times. So when I see crayons, all I think of is a slowly fading childhood memory losing its color.
