Which of these actions is most similar to the covenant Abraham formed with God?

Choice B

First, men by nature are depraved. Second, God is perfect. God does not need us nor did he need Abraham. Abraham could not trade anything with God that God had already given him. So, Choice A is wholly incorrect.

God is omnipresent. God also does not make covenants with the wicked. If God made a covenant with Abraham, then there will be interaction between the two parties. God does not interact with the wicked, therefore there is no covenant between him and the unrighteous. So, Choice C is inaccurate.

God does not attack his friends. (Yes, I said "friend". You may think it is callous of me, but read your Bible. In James 2:23 Abraham is called a "friend of God.") God does not conquer or take advantage of us, nor did he to Abraham. Choice D is erroneous.

That leaves us with Choice B, which is the correct answer. In Psalm 91, God is referred to as a "refuge" and "protection" as He is with everyone he is in covenant with. Abraham agreed to abide by God's laws in exchange for an eternity in Heaven -- or, if you'd rather me say, "protection."

According to Viking mythology, Valhalla was a great hall in the grandest palace of Odin,
Cloud [144]

Answer:

Vikings believed that dying a heroic death would reward them in the afterlife.

Explanation:

 • The Vikings believed that dying a heroic death would help them reap the reward in the afterlife. This belief might have encouraged them to lead a courageous life. It might have made them more aggressive and belligerent towards their enemies and foes.
 • The Viking's and the Egyptian's both buried proper funerals for the dead ones. They also buried personal objects like clothes, crafts, etc along with the dead body. The difference between the Vikings and the Egyptians about the afterlife is the way how dead persons are rewarded or punished.
 • The Viking's simply believed that a heroic death would be eventually rewarded in the afterlife while the Egyptians believed that each person had to cross seven gates and would be finally judged on the seventh gate by the Gods.

Describe two major federal assimilation policies
Mariana [72]
In this context, assimilation means to absorb one cultural or racial group into another. The Federal Indian Act was an attempt to integrate the Native Americans into European American Society. The assimilation between the two nations was forced upon the Native Americans and it was an attempt to destroy traditional Indian cultural identities. The two major federal assimilation policies are as follows:

1. Economic activity was monitored between the Indian nations and the government of America. 2. The Allotment act was passed forcing the Native Americans to become small landowners or farmers.
