Answer:

The appropriate action would be to monitor the blood pressure of the client.

Explanation:

Fludrocortisone refers to a kind of drug known as an oral mineralocorticoid. The drug is prescribed for treating a condition known as Addison's disease, in which the adrenal glands do not produce sufficient kind of hormones. The drug assists in substituting those hormones. It is also used in the treatment of a condition known as salt-losing adrenogenital syndrome, that is, a kind of hormonal imbalance. However, one of the potential side effects of the drug is that it can elevate blood pressure in the individuals taking the drug. Thus, there is a need to monitor the blood pressure of the patient in the given case, in order to reduce the threat of the potential side effect of the medicine.

ohaa [14]

An operon is a stretch of DNA consisting of an operator, a promoter, and genes for a related set of proteins, usually making up an entire metabolic pathway.

operon is a functional unit of gene.

This cluster of gene transcribed together to give a messenger RNA which further give rises to protein.

operator in operon is the site where repressor binds.

promoter is where Mrna binds , where our genes are transcribed

structural genes, they code for the enzyme that are involved in this metabolic pathway.

Operons have an important role to play as they produce protein for the cell this serves them energy, the protein is produced only when energy is required.

Lapatulllka [165]
I think you wrote this wrong? Is it not round rr vs wrinkled RR?? I'll answer it with that assumption:

You are crossing a rr with an RR:
You only get Rr back so they will phenotypically be all wrinkled

If you are crossing rr with an Rr (so a heterozygote wrinkled):
50% will be Rr (wrinkled)
50% will be rr (round)

Allen has been studying the genetic material of dogs, to get more insight
kati45 [8]

Answer:

Nucleic Acids

Explanation:

Nucleic acids are DNA and RNA and they are the molecules responsible for containing the genetic material of all living beings. Thus, DNA and RNA are the molecules responsible for establishing the variability and different characteristics between dog breeds, through the genetic information that each of them houses.

In this case, among the options given in the question above, we can confirm that if Allen has studied the genetic material of dogs to better understand why there are so many different breeds, he must have studied nucleic acids.
