Hello friends..

Some (not all) of the nutritional value in vegetables is lost during the cooking process – but why?  Vegetables are packed FULL of vitamins, which are essential for our overall diet and the chemical reactions within our bodies.
Vitamins are split up into two different groups: water-soluble (B-complexes, and C) and fat-soluble (A, D, E, and K). During the cooking process, water-soluble vitamins are more likely to be destroyed.

Hope this answer helps you..

During photosynthesis, cells capture the energy of sunlight using (thylakoid / stroma / NADPH / chlorophyll), which is a type of
Alla [95]

Answer:

Chlorophyll

Pigment

NADP+

Carrier

Explanation:

Photosynthesis is the process where green plants synthesize their food in form of sugars using sunlight energy. Photosynthetic process occurs in two stages namely: Light dependent stage and Light independent stage.

In the light dependent stage, which occurs in the thylakoid lumen, cells capture the energy of sunlight using CHLOROPHYLL, a type of PIGMENT found in the chloroplast. However, photosynthesis also relies on a compound called NADP+, which serves as an ELECTRON CARRIER that accepts electrons to become NADPH and transfers its stored high-energy electrons.

Why is it essential that the regulatory mechanisms that activate glycogen synthesis also deactivate glycogen phosphorylase? (sel
Alex_Xolod [135]
This is because such a mechanism of regulation prevents the simultaneous addition and removal of glucose monomers, preventing unnecessary reactions. Additionally. the two processes occur in the same location in the sell, thus this regulation makes the net process more efficient. When glycogen phosphorylase is phosphorylated its activity increases and vicevarsa.
