English help me please
Nana76 [90]
16 is A because you would put a period after Ave because it is abbreviated .
17 is B because you put a comma after the city and dont put anything with the state. for example Defuniak Springs, FL
18 should be Your math facts, Carly, need much more drill. you are directly speaking to Carly. so Carly would be the appositive in the appositive phrase
19 is the first one. you put a comma after the day on a date. example May 5, 2018 and when you state what day it is then there is a comma there. example Monday, May 5, 2018.

Hi there! Hopefully this helps!

Benefits of repeated readings include helping all readers with fact recall, serves as a study strategy, aids in students' identification of what's important in their reading, such as main ideas and vocabulary, increases comprehension and results in more advanced questioning and insight, leads to faster reading and increased word recognition accuracy, and assists struggling readers as they transition from word-by-word reading to more meaningful phrasing.

I do agree that the text structure of "Cause and Effect" is appropriately placed in the sequence of multiple reads because paragraphs structured as cause and effect explain the reasons why something happened or the effects of something. If you wanted to get a better understanding of why something happens or what happened because of that something then it is great to reread the story!
